GM crops

Fresh fears were raised over GM crops yesterday after a study showed they can cause liver and kidney damage.

According to the research, animals fed on three strains of genetically modified maize created by the U.S. biotech firm Monsanto suffered signs of organ damage after just three months.

TV scrolling scripts.

We all know that western script is read from left to right and vice versa for Arabic and Hebrew. Thus one goes backwards relative to the other. It seems clear enough. But now consider the ubiquitous bottom of the screen scrolling news on your favourite TV channel.

FUBAR?

Time for a good bank, setting one up just requires a licence. Last I looked, when IB was thinking of prosecuting a bank for accomplice to evasion, it cost a million. Punts.
Banks do not do well in Kondratieff winters.
Nearly all the world’s banks depend upon their country of registration for solvency and liquidity. That is why fiat currencies are devaluing. That is why inflation will be picking up for food etc.

Welcome to the new world order. Deflation of big ticket items, lack of capital and rising prices. Economies that without the FIRE section, will be 1980 in size. 1980. If we are lucky. It can get worse than that. But I do not wish to depress you. Make lifestyle plans according to what you really think will be happeneing over the next twenty to thirty years. Japan is still deflating, twenty years on. Critics may say Japan is different. But they are wrong. They were merely the first casualty of the banking weapon. Most of the biggest companies in the world used to be banks. Imagine a world where there is no lending at all. No new credit. All existing credit is “renewed” because otherwise, capital is impaired. Existing companies have to compete with start ups, funded by profits, while the existing companies have to pay interest. At normal interest rates, which are twice the current level. This is our world, once the Basle accords apply with more conservative reserve requirements. Decades of that.

Lifestyle choices?

Do we have time?

To consider what would happen should the orb of the earth be tipped, North to South?
Immediately, dear reader, you ask questions. How?

Well, suppose it has happened already and will happen again.
Before the last reversal, the ice age was rampant. Viewing the globe from space, the British isles were where the Falklands are now. These islands were joined to the European continent to their west, as the ice on the islands and the continent and elsewhere had reduced the sea level 320 feet or 100 metres. A land bridge existed.

As the islands were on the east side of the Eurasia continental mass, the weather was very harsh, similar to that of Kamchatka, today. It was dry and very cold, with occasional storms from the east that would bring snow and in the summer, rain. At 52 degrees South, the temperature is very cold. The British Isles currently, forgive the pun, receive the benefit of massive warming from the Gulf Stream, originating in the Carribean. There was no such current during the Ice Age.

Some of the Velikovskians say that Venus tipped the earth, creating a very long day where the sun appeared to stay still in the sky before setting in what had been the direction from which it rose. East was now west. Graves now faced the setting Sun, while burials were being made as always, towards the rising sun. But the new graves faced the opposite direction to those existing graves.

There was widespread destruction, caused by tsunami devastating the land, far inland.

Whay is happening in this GFC?

http://50yearsoffreedom.wordpress.com/2010/03/21/the-most-important-chart-of-the-century/

The charts and words used here are old style, but most effective!

The author seems to think a rather nasty time is approaching… for the USA. Whom else will it affect? The Iceland analysis is very short. Does it also apply to Ireland? You be the judge!

A spy unsettles US-India ties
By M K Bhadrakumar

News that the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had reached a plea bargain with David Coleman Headley, who played a key role in the planning of the terrorist strike in Mumbai in November 2008 in which 166 people were killed, has caused an uproar in India.

The deal enables the US government to hold back from formally producing any evidence against Headley in a court of law that might have included details of his links with US intelligence or oblige any cross-examination of Headley by the prosecution.

MORE in the article!!!!!!!

Ambassador M K Bhadrakumar was a career diplomat in the Indian Foreign Service. His assignments included the Soviet Union, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Germany, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Kuwait and Turkey.

Bugging

I worked in an environment where I expected to be recorded voice and also later, video. The problem with this for the persons carrying out the bugging is that what they transmit is capable of interception. Once inter epted it is a record of what took place and of the bugging which is often unlawful.

The buggers bit!

HAARP

The USA has suggested that it is possible to trigger earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. They know this is possible. They already have the tech themselves?

"The same thing is true about just the false scare of a threat of using some kind of a chemical weapon or a biological one. There are some reports, for example, that some countries have been trying to construct something like an Ebola Virus, and that would be a very dangerous phenomenon, to say the least. Alvin Toeffler has written about this in terms of some scientists in their laboratories trying to devise certain types of pathogens that would be ethnic specific so that they could just eliminate certain ethnic groups and races; and others are designing some sort of engineering, some sort of insects that can destroy specific crops. Others are engaging even in an eco- type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves.

So there are plenty of ingenious minds out there that are at work finding ways in which they can wreak terror upon other nations. It’s real, and that’s the reason why we have to intensify our efforts, and that’s why this is so important."

CIA used LSD to make French lose the loaf

By Henry Samuel in Paris

Thursday March 11 2010

IN 1951, a quiet, picturesque village in southern France was suddenly and mysteriously struck down with mass insanity and hallucinations. At least five people died, dozens were committed to asylums and hundreds afflicted.

For decades it was assumed that the local bread had been unwittingly poisoned with a psychedelic mould. Now an even more extraordinary explanation has emerged, with evidence suggesting the CIA peppered local food with the hallucinogenic drug LSD as part of a mind-control experiment at the height of the Cold War.

The mystery of Le Pain Maudit (The Cursed Bread) still haunts Pont-Saint-Esprit, in the Gard, south-east France. On August 16, 1951, the inhabitants suddenly suffered frightful hallucinations of terrifying beasts and fire.

One man tried to drown himself, screaming that his belly was being eaten by snakes. An 11-year-old tried to strangle his grandmother.

Another man shouted "I am a plane" before jumping out of a second-floor window, breaking his legs. He then got up and carried on for 50 yards.

'Time' magazine wrote: "Delirium rose: patients thrashed wildly on their beds, screaming that red flowers were blossoming from their bodies, that their heads had turned to molten lead."

Eventually, it was determined that a local baker had unwittingly contaminated his flour with ergot, a hallucinogenic mould that infects rye grain.

However, H P Albarelli Jr, an investigative journalist, claims the outbreak resulted from a covert experiment directed by the CIA and the US army's top-secret special ops division at Fort Detrick, Maryland.

Mr Albarelli came across CIA documents while investigating the suspicious suicide of Frank Olson, a biochemist working for special ops who fell from a 13th floor window two years after the Cursed Bread incident.

One of the notes describes a conversation between a CIA agent and a official with Sandoz, a pharmaceutical company that "supplied the CIA and the US army with LSD".

The official allegedly mentioned the "secret of Pont-Saint-Esprit" and explained that it was not "at all" caused by mould but by diethylamide, the D in LSD. (© Daily Telegraph, London)

Potent anti-fleet weapon?

Not content with destroying enough energy to power the world for 10 years, the Aceh explosion also revealed a new weapon, being explored by the PLA among others.

A small primer charge, set off in any deep feature of the seabed will ignite the clathrates present. The potent explosion will have little direct effect except on shorelines, experienced as a tsunami, probably of far lesser height than that at Aceh in most cases, but it depends on the extent of the seabed feature. The more intersting effect will be the instant and massive expansion from solid to gas, expanding even more as it inevitably travels towards the surface of the ocean.

Surface vessels are very unstable as flying machines. A CVN floating even momentarily in gas will lose orientation and assume a stern down posture. It is also likely to slip to one side or another or even turn to present the stem to the sky. It is unlikely to resume a survivable conformation when the sea replaces the gases liberated from the seabed explosion. It will sink intoi the sea and will likely disappear in minutes permanently. The effect on submarines will merely be to kill crew, unless securely strapped into beds or seating.

Detonation should be timed for the presence of the major target over the likely area of gas expansion.

A variant of thios is the nuclear mine, built to withstand immense pressure and set off on the deep sea bed a few minutes before the target is overhead. The steam bubbles formed will also sink the fleet vessels so caught. Radiation damage will be slight. This will be detected by the target vessels possibly as a tectonic event, earthquake or undersea volcano.

I would advise adopting maximum speed and 60 degree course change, if nearby geography permits for 5 minutes or so if any tectonic events are encountered while at sea.

Aceh

Aceh was a disaster on 26th December, 2004.

It was wildly successful. Too successful.

The use of natural disasters as a tool to enable the acquisition of oil and mineral rich areas has been highlighted by the dreadful deaths of 300,000 people.

A submarine was damaged. That had to be explained away as a navigation failure. Another set of casualties.

What happened? The plan was simple. But the planners had neglected the trenches in the area that connected northwards for nearly 1000kms. The trenches are unusual as they have been filling for thousands of years with decaying animals and vegetation, marine and swept off the land masses nearby. As trenches, they accumulated massive amounts and lost little to the surrounding seabed. In time they became frozen, highly pressurized masses of clathrates, jumbles of organic chemicals particularly rich in methane. Methane is an explosive gas, but as a solid, it expanded 30 times it's size in one dimension. It possesses three dimensions so became gaseous plasma, 27,000 times the original size. This vast explosion should have been detectable. The actual detonation device was detected as 6.0 on the successor to the
richter scale. Due to the colossal size of the disturbance, monitored by the US armed forces, thius had to be revised upwards, nonsensically, to 9.3, 3,000 times the intended explosion.

Months later, Air Force officers are disciplined. Were they the planners? Does it matter? Publish this freely!

Peter Garret

He was a rock star. He is a minister in the Rudd government. He decided that a dam should not be built. Despite the strong support for that dam of a dubious labour government in Queensland.

That has annoyed a few very wealthy people who wanted to become wealthier. So he has been demoted for his responsibility in respect of a rushed stimulus scheme which has enabled untrained twits to staple live electrical wiring.

Location, loacation, location

It is shattering.

You realize that all the neighbours are stupid or greedy or both and are intent on destroying their economy by trading in flower bulbs, shares in a dubious scheme in the South Pacific or selling houses to one another at a fifty per cent profit each time they sell. In all three cases they have been able to borrow money that they clearly cannot repay if they lose their job or if the property market crashes.

You wish to escape from this mess. You decide to sell your main asset one which everyone around says will keep on going up in value. You tell your neighbours you are not upgrading or buying a few houses. They laugh at you.

Where are you going to live now you have far more money than the house was ever worth as a habitation?

Avoid earthquahe zones.
